One of the historical towns of northern India, Bathinda is located in the Punjab State in Malwa Region. Bathinda is the district headquarter and also a famous city and is famous for its religious and historical association. Bathinda has been mentioned even in Vedas with different names. Best Time to Visit Bathinda

Bathinda experiences extreme variation of temperature during winter and summer. Generally the weather of Bathinda City is very dry but during the months of May-July, the weather is very humid. During summer evening hot sand-laden winds can be experienced. From mid-August to mid-September, the city gets rain. Winters are pleasant though during extreme winter, temperature may reach zero degree. The best months to visit Bathinda and enjoy various activities like sightseeing, shopping, eating out and excursion in the nearby areas etc. are from October-March.
